Each Trust meeting begins with a Group Sitting from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the Trust meeting.

About the Trustees of VIVA
The Trustees form the executive body of the Vancouver Island Vipassana Association (VIVA), fulfilling legal obligations in Canada and British Columbia. Their work is guided by the long-established principles of this tradition as set forth by S. N. Goenka.
The Centre Teacher serves as the administrative head of Dhamma Modana and VIVA, overseeing both the spiritual and operational dimensions of the center. The Trust also provides an opportunity for Dhamma servers to assume responsibilities, receive training, and contribute to the many administrative functions essential to the center’s operations.
Invitation to Old Students
The Board warmly invites old students to attend center meetings, whether for a portion or the entire duration. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to:
- Participate in a group sitting.
- Meet the Board members.
- Learn about the center’s operations and activities.
