From Vancouver Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal there at 2 options, one ferry to Swartz Bay (Victoria) and the other to Duke Point (Nanaimo). Both of these ferry’s are just outside the city. Swartz Bay has a public bus service from the terminal to Victoria downtown. From downtown Victoria there is an express bus to Duncan, please check the Duncan Connector schedules.

However, Duke Point terminal does not have regional transit services. There is a shuttle service (phone: 1 800 209 7792) that would take you to down town Nanaimo. Duke Point is not geared really for foot-passengers in that it is to far from downtown, your best option is the Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay terminal for using public transit to and from the center.
